The Chairman of the Cross River State Diaspora Commission (CRIDCOM), Prince Otu Okor, led his commissioners on a courtesy inter-agency visit to Sen Stephen Odey, Commissioner for Education, yesterday. The visit aimed to foster collaboration and explore investment opportunities between the two agencies.
During the meeting, the CRIDCOM Chair formally introduced the commission and its mandate, highlighting the commission’s role in harnessing the potential of Cross Riverians in the diaspora.
Prince Okor informed Commissioner Odey that Cross Riverians in the diaspora are eager to invest in the educational sector but require clarity on priority areas of investment.
Both parties discussed potential areas of collaboration, and the Commissioner expressed his willingness to work closely with CRIDCOM to attract investments that would benefit the state’s education sector.
