The Cross River State Diaspora Commission (CRIDCOM), led by its Chairman and Commissioners, recently undertook a key courtesy visit to the Ministry of Power and Renewable Energy. The CRIDCOM delegation was warmly received by the Honorable Commissioner, Mr. Eka Williams.
The visit served as a pivotal step for CRIDCOM to introduce its mandate and proactively seek areas of collaboration, partnership, and investment within the State’s vital energy sector. “Our objective is to synergize with the Ministry of Power and Renewable Energy to identify and harness viable investment opportunities for the benefit of Cross River State,” stated the CRIDCOM Chairman during the meeting.
Honorable Commissioner Mr. Eka Williams welcomed the CRIDCOM leadership, emphasizing the immense and largely untapped investment potential within the Power and Renewable Energy landscape of the State. He specifically highlighted lucrative prospects in the development of Renewable Energy Plants, among other strategic initiatives.
The Commissioner further encouraged CRIDCOM to strategically broaden its investment focus, advocating for the development of a comprehensive investment portfolio that could encompass collaborative ventures with other critical Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) across the State. This approach aims to foster a more integrated and impactful development strategy.
This productive engagement underscored the shared commitment of both CRIDCOM and the Ministry of Power and Renewable Energy to explore mutually beneficial opportunities, driving substantial growth and sustainable development across Cross River State.
