The Chairman of the Cross River State Diaspora Commission (CRIDCOM), Prince Otu Okor, led his commissioners on a courtesy interagency visit to Mr. Johnson Ebokpo, Commissioner for Agriculture and Irrigation Development.
The purpose of the visit was to explore areas of collaboration and investment in the agriculture sector. During the meeting, Prince Okor formally introduced the CRIDCOM and its mandate, emphasizing the commission’s role in engaging Cross Riverians in the diaspora.
He expressed the diaspora community’s willingness to invest in various areas of agriculture, pending identification of priority areas. Commissioner Ebokpo welcomed the proposal, highlighting the state’s agricultural potential.
Both parties discussed potential investment opportunities, paving the way for future collaboration. The meeting concluded with a mutual understanding to work together in developing the state’s agriculture sector.
