His Excellency, the Acting Governor of Cross River State, Rt. Hon. Peter Odey has approved the appointment of the following persons to the Cross River State Diaspora Commission. They are:
- Otu Esu Okor – Chairman
- Elizabeth Greene – Secretary
- Mr. Eyobong Ita – Member
- Mr. Douglas Agbe – Member
- Dr. Mrs Maggie Inde – Member
- Mrs. Emily Madueke – Member
The establishment of the Cross River State Diaspora Commission aims to engage Cross Riverians abroad in state policies and development projects, leveraging their human and material resources for the socio-economic, cultural, and political advancement of Cross River State. The full mandate of the Commission will be given to the members by the State Planning Commission. Moreover, members are expected to report to the office of the Secretary to the Government of the State for further instructions and documentation.
